Robert Half Accounts Receivable Specialist in Pompano Beach, Florida
Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in the Wholesale Distribution - Non-Durable industry, located in Pompano Beach, Florida. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate customer records, processing customer applications, and resolving customer inquiries. This role also includes monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently and accurately process customer credit applications
• Maintain precise records of customer credits
• Handle customer inquiries and provide solutions
• Monitor customer accounts regularly and take appropriate actions
• Perform high-level data entry tasks
• Conduct collections calls as needed
• Post payments when necessary
• Use multiple software systems, including Microsoft, CRM, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Perform Billing Functions and manage Cash Activity
• Handle cash effectively. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services
• Experience with CRM
• Knowledge of Epic Software
• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Ability to perform Accounting Functions
• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Expertise in Billing Functions
• Capability to handle Cash Activity
• Experience in Cash Handling
• Previous work in the Non-Durable Wholesale Distribution industry
• Ability to work well in a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Relevant certifications are a plus.
