The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing all digital advertising, marketing, and promotional activity. Working in close coordination with the PPC advertising agency, this role is responsible for developing and overseeing digital advertising mediums including email, texting, mobile, website, video, online display banners, social media, and interactive marketing. The position will also entail planning and execution of a website content calendar as well as setting campaign metrics for tracking/reporting campaign performance to monitor success rates. In addition, this role will manage the Customer Service function as well as external copywriting process. Requirements ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Plan, coordinate and execute the marketing calendar all the while keeping the complete organization informed on promotional activity to allow all parties to prepare and plan accordingly. • Manage all texting campaigns, broadcast emails, and social media platforms including working with design on the creation of content as well as scheduling/executing all texts & posts. • Actively seek out new tools to drive website traffic growth and/or increased website conversion. • In concert with the VP Ecommerce & Marketing, manage the PPC and social media advertising agency. • Maintain all analytical tracking tools to assist the team in making good decisions with the assistance of accurate reports. • Manage all non-product copy, including promotional copy, blog and landing page copy needs through an online freelance copywriting service. • Work in tight coordination with Customer Service to provide good customer feedback (email, chat, phone, reviews and via all social channels) and guidance as quickly as possible while understanding that satisfied customers are the lifeline to the brand’s long-term survival. All this needs to happen while remaining within the limitations of our company policies. • Work across various business functions within the organization, often managing by influence.

EDUCATION, FORMAL TRAINING and EXPERIENCE: • Bachelor’s degree in business or business-related field and/or equivalent. • The ideal candidate will have 3 years’ experience in ecommerce market with proven ability to execute consumer focused digital marketing programs. • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in digital marketing management with direct responsibility for marketing activities. • Supervisory / management experience • Experience in soft goods (luggage/backpacks/bags) products would be viewed positively.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY: • Proven strategic thinking ability. Ability to receive and apply constructive feedback. • Strong financial acumen • Strong knowledge of Google Analytics knowledge (including ability to extract/understand top level as well as PPC campaign specific data) required. Certification preferred • Google/Bing Adwords knowledge strongly preferred • Strong knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest along with each of their specific segmenting and advertising tools • Must be a self-starter with ability to work independently to meet goals and objectives. • Ability to give, receive, and analyze information, formulate work plans, prepare written materials, and articulate goals and action plans. • Requires high level of interactions with multiple areas of the company. Therefore, excellent interpersonal skills are a must. • Must be fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills and a knack for diplomacy. • Must be highly detailed oriented, hands on and able to direct (train) others to following processes. • Must be able to resolve problems, handle conflict & make effective decisions under pressure. • Ability to effectively lead cross functional teams. • Exceptional attention-to-detail and follow through to meet assigned deadlines. • Strong organizational skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, senior management, & internal staff. • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
