Description
We are seeking a Contracts Attorney to join a company in a remote capacity. This role involves working on referral and resale agreements, with a focus on software reseller agreements. This contract employment opportunity is ideal for someone with substantial experience in contract management, specifically in the software as a service (SAAS) industry.
Key responsibilities:
• Work on referral and resale agreements, including recontracting and potential drafting of new agreements.
• Leverage your experience in contract management to ensure all agreements are legally sound and beneficial to the organization.
• Utilize your knowledge of SAAS to draft and review software reseller agreements.
• Negotiate contract terms with resellers to achieve favorable outcomes for the organization.
• Regularly review contracts to ensure compliance with all legal and contractual obligations.
• Assist the AGC by reporting on the progress of contract negotiations and any potential legal issues.
• Use your skills in commercial contracts to aid in the drafting and reviewing of these documents.
• Ensure accurate records of all agreements are maintained for future reference.
Requirements • Proven experience in Contract Management
• Familiarity with Resellers and their contractual needs
• Proficiency in SAAS - Software As A Service contracts
• Extensive experience in Commercial Contracts
• Ability to Draft Contracts effectively and efficiently
• Experience with Legal Contracts, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks
• Strong negotiation skills to Negotiate Contracts favorably
• Detail-oriented with a focus on Reviewing Contracts thoroughly
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• License to practice law in the state
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
