Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a proficient Customer Service Representative to join our team in the healthcare industry based in Portland, Maine. The role primarily involves responding to customer and provider inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses, and working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer and provider inquiries primarily through telephone interaction

• Provide timely and accurate responses to all inquiries in a professional manner

• Manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Utilize skills such as answering multi-line phone systems and handling inbound telephone calls

• Maintain high standards of phone etiquette

• Deliver effective call center customer service

• Ensure appropriate phone coverage at all times. Requirements • Proven ability to handle inbound telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner.

• Proficient in managing a multi-line phone system effectively.

• Demonstrated experience in providing excellent customer service in a call center environment.

• Strong phone etiquette skills with the ability to maintain composure under pressure.

• Ability to provide comprehensive phone coverage ensuring all calls are answered or redirected appropriately.

• Prior experience in the healthcare or NHS sector is desirable.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Possess strong problem-solving skills to handle customer queries and complaints.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.

• Flexibility to work in different shifts, including weekends and holidays, if required.

• Knowledge of healthcare terminologies and practices would be an advantage.

• Must have a customer-centric approach and the ability to empathize with patients.

• Basic knowledge of computer applications such as MS Office and healthcare management software.

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification is required. Further education in medical administration or customer service would be a plus.
