Description
We are seeking a passionate, hands-on Marketing Director with prior B2B experience and a keen design sense for a full-time position with our client in Portland, Maine. The ideal candidate will have B2B retail experience and be able to work fully onsite in Portland. Must have experience managing a small team and must be hands-on with design program as the team includes creative professionals. Looking for someone is flexible and who can understand a client’s pain points and execute on deliverables accordingly.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies that align with our brand identity and business objectives, and have a direct impact on our market penetration.
Coordinate with different teams to develop a unified and compelling range of marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, case studies, and email campaigns.
Analyze previous marketing campaigns and use insights to inform future campaigns.
Leverage a dual-minded approach: a highly creative 'big picture' outlook coupled with an affinity for using data to drive decision making.
Supervise the marketing team, creating an environment that promotes creativity, collaboration and professional growth.
Understand our products, services, and target audiences to develop compelling messaging that differentiates us in the marketplace.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
Proven experience as a Marketing Director or similar leadership roles, ideally in a B2B environment.
Good design sense and experience in creating marketing/branding materials.
Proficient in marketing software and social media platforms.
Strong analytical, strategic planning, and project management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proactive and creative problem-solver with ability to work under pressure.
