Description
Robert Half is seeking a Systems Analyst to join our client's team. In this role you will provide IT support to internal users and manage data to ensure its integrity, security, and accessibility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and understanding of IT systems and data management principles.
IT Support:
Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues promptly and effectively.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and peripherals.
Collaborate with team members to resolve complex technical problems and escalate issues as needed.
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of IT security protocols and procedures.
Data Management:
Develop and implement data management strategies to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and availability of organizational data.
Maintain databases, ensuring optimal performance and data security.
Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decision-making.
Implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Systems Analysis:
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for IT solutions.
Evaluate existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Design and develop software applications, scripts, and tools to streamline business processes and enhance productivity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and integrate IT solutions into existing infrastructure.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience/passion for IT support, data management, and systems analysis.
Proficiency in operating systems (e.g., Windows), networking, and database management systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively to resolve technical issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL, Java) and software development methodologies is preferred.
Knowledge of data governance frameworks, regulatory requirements, and best practices in data management and security.
