Description
Jamie Benway with Robert Half is in search of a diligent Accounting Applications Analyst to join our team in Portland, Oregon. The candidate will be responsible for handling customer applications, maintaining accurate records, and resolving customer inquiries. The role also involves monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary.
Responsibilities:
• Process and verify customer credit applications with precision and efficiency
• Maintain and manage accurate customer credit records
• Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly
• Monitor customer accounts regularly and take necessary actions when required
• Participate in various projects requiring onsite presence
• Collaborate with internal clients to ensure efficient service delivery
• Handle Month End Close processes
• Ensure the confidentiality and security of customer data
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices
• Provide support for other accounting related tasks as needed.

Requirements • Proficiency in accounting software and tools
• Demonstrable experience with Month End Close process
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Experience in creating and maintaining financial reports
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make well-judged decisions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
• Proven track record of maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information
• Must have legal right to work in the specified location.
