Description
Carly Sahagian with Robert Half is offering an exciting opportunity in the industry of finance, specifically looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team based in Portland, Oregon. In this role, you will be responsible for a range of tasks including account reconciliation, billing, cash applications, and collections.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency
• Keep customer credit records accurate and up-to-date
• Respond to and resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely manner
• Monitor customer credit accounts and take necessary actions to collect overdue payments
• Utilize software applications such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various tasks related to account reconciliation and billing
• Ensure compliance with established internal controls and financial procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely billing and collection processes
• Regularly review and reconcile accounts receivable ledgers
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to accounts receivable
• Participate in financial audits related to accounts receivable and ensure all documentation is available and compliant.

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Knowledge of Billing procedures
• Familiarity with Cash Applications
• Experience in Cash Collections
• Proficiency in Commercial Collections
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Oracle software
• Proficiency in QuickBooks
• Knowledge of SAP software
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is preferable
• Experience in a similar role is advantageous
