Description
A mid-size Portland law firm is searching for an Attorney to support their Employment Litigation group. The role involves handling cases in the areas of complex litigation, including general casualty defense work, product liability, contract, and employment trial work. The position involves all phases of litigation and includes drafting pleadings and discovery, managing files, and handling hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials.
Responsibilities:
• Handle cases in the areas of complex litigation, including general casualty defense work, product liability, contract, and employment trial work
• Draft pleadings and discovery documents in preparation for trial
• Manage case files to ensure all relevant information and documents are easily accessible
• Represent the organization in hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials
• Work closely with a team of accomplished lawyers to deliver high-quality legal services
• Engage in professional development activities to keep abreast of changes in law and industry best practices
• Maintain a respectful environment that celebrates diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Requirements
3+ YOE in Civil Litigation
Active Oregon license
Juris Doctorate
