Description
Robert Half Technology is seeking an experienced and motivated IT Support Specialist to local print shop client in Portland, Oregon. In this role, you will provide Tier 1 IT support, focusing on maintaining and troubleshooting our Windows and MacOS environments. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production floor and supporting our internal software systems.

Duration: Short-term contract with possibility of extension.
Location: 100% onsite in Portland, Oregon
Schedule: Monday-Friday (9-5pm)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Tier 1 IT support, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Windows OS, Office 365, and PC hardware (e.g., printers, fax machines).
Assist with basic networking tasks and support Windows Server environments as needed.
Offer hands-on support on the production floor to address technical issues with computers and other devices.
Collaborate with third-party vendors to support the networking side of IT operations.
Work closely with both technical and non-technical users to provide excellent customer service and technical support.
Learn and support internal software systems, with on-the-job training provided.
Maintain strong communication with team members to foster a positive team culture.
Requirements
4+ years of experience in IT support or a related role.
Proficiency with Windows OS, Office 365, and PC hardware (e.g., printers, fax machines).
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while being part of a team.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to assist both technical and non-technical users.
Strong customer service orientation.
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience with basic networking and Windows Server administration.
Familiarity with MacOS.
