Description
A well-established, mid-sized firm in Downtown Portland is seeking a talented and motivated COMMERCIAL LITIGATION LEGAL ASSISTANT. You will play a vital role in supporting attorneys and the team in all phases of high-stakes litigation matters.

Duties include:
Prepare and finalize pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
Manage and organize electronic and paper files.
File in State and Federal Courts.
Prepare exhibits and trial materials.
Calendar and docket.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000. This role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Benefits include medical, dental and vision premiums 100% paid by employer; free garage parking; life and disability insurance; participation in the company’s 401(k) plan with 3% employer contribution, profit sharing, and a deferred salary plan with employer match, 4 weeks of paid time off, 1 week of sick time and 11 paid holidays per calendar year.

Requirements
Ideal Candidates will have:
A minimum of 3 years of experience as a legal assistant, preferably in commercial litigation.
Strong understanding of legal terminology and processes, including court e-filing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
A team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
