Description
A boutique personal injury law firm in Portland, OR is seeking a plaintiff personal injury litigation paralegal to join their team. Cases would include catastrophic injury, med mal and wrongful death.
The role offers a base salary of 60-95k DOE, with additional bonus earnings, medical, dental, vision and life insurance, 401k with a 3% match, PTO & sick leave, paid court holidays and other perks!
This role will focus on plaintiff personal injury litigation, taking a case from inception through negotiating settlements, arbitration, mediation, deposition and trial.
Requirements
Ideal candidates will have the following experience:
3+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal, handling personal injury litigation cases in Oregon.
Experience requesting medical records and analyzing medical records
Drafting medical chronologies, demand letters, pleadings and other motions
Supporting trial prep, prepping binders and exhibits
E-filing in Oregon court system
Clear understanding of court procedures and deadlines in civil court, federal court experience a big plus
Empathetic and committed to getting their clients the best possible outcome
