Description
Robert Half is seeking a Medical Records Clerk for a prominent healthcare organization in NE Portland. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone detail-oriented who is excited about getting into the healthcare field!
Responsibilities:
Scan, file, and organize information accordance with privacy and confidentiality guidelines.
Transfer medical records and data between platforms with accuracy and attention to detail.
Ensure timely and efficient filing of electronic and paper records, updating patient information as necessary.
Retrieve and provide records to authorized personnel or departments upon request.
Assist in maintaining a well-organized, compliant records management system to ensure easy access and secure storage.
Perform regular audits of files and records, addressing any inconsistencies or missing information.
Requirements
Tech savviness is a must, as you will be trained on new systems.
Recent and relevant professional experience, ideally in an office setting.
Familiarity with data entry, scanning, and file management systems.
High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize tasks.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with healthcare platforms is a plus.
