Description
Brittany Bui with Robert Half is offering an exciting opportunity for a Property Accountant in the industry located in Portland, Oregon. The role involves maintaining and analyzing financial data for our diverse portfolio, which includes both affordable and conventional properties.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough data analysis for a portfolio of diverse properties using Yardi software
• Prepare comprehensive financial statements
• Facilitate annual financial audits and statutory filings
• Execute and oversee the process of payroll journal entries, ensuring adequate funding at all times
• Handle benefits processing and EFTPS payments
• Manage deposits, wire transfers, and bank account movements
• Supervise and approve ACH and wire templates for AP accountants
• Identify accounting and internal control issues that arise due to business and process changes, providing constructive feedback and solutions for possible process and control improvements.

Requirements • Applicant must possess a minimum of 3 years experience in the field of Property Accounting.
• Proficiency in Account Coding is essential for this role.
• Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems is a must.
• Knowledge of ADP - Financial Services is required.
• Experience with AMSI is desirable.
• Ability to handle all Accounting Functions is necessary.
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is crucial.
• Knowledge of Accrual Accounting is needed.
• Auditing skills are a prerequisite for this position.
• Proficiency in Yardi Software is required.
• Experience with Low Income Tax Credit Housing (LITCH) is desirable.
• Familiarity with HUD regulations is necessary.
• Knowledge of Section 8 housing policies is beneficial.
• Proficiency in Financial Statement Preparation is important.
