Description
We are in search of a SEC Reporting Manager to join our team in the industry located in PORTLAND, Oregon. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity. As a SEC Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team, handling SEC Reporting tasks, and maintaining compliance with the necessary standards.
Responsibilities:
• Manage a team of 3 to ensure smooth operations
• Lead SEC Reporting activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Oversee month-end close activities, ensuring all hands on deck and managing possible overtime
• Ensure compliance with public experience and technical accounting standards
• Oversee auditing processes to maintain accuracy and compliance
• Manage accounting functions, ensuring efficiency and accuracy
• Handle compliance tasks, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations
• Oversee the preparation and review of disclosures to ensure accuracy
• Maintain accurate documentation for all tasks and processes.
Requirements
• Proven experience in the role of SEC Reporting Manager or a similar position.
• Solid understanding of ERP Solutions and FDM.
• Demonstrable experience in managing various accounting functions.
• Strong auditing skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Knowledge of compliance regulations and their implementation.
• Ability to prepare accurate disclosures in accordance with SEC guidelines.
• Excellent documentation skills to ensure clear and concise reporting.
• Expertise in SEC reporting and understanding of related legal requirements.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear reporting.
