Robert Half Management Resources is seeking an accomplished Senior Financial Analyst for an innovative company in the Portland area. This is an interim role and is expected to last 5-6 months with a high likelihood of extension. The Senior Financial Analyst is key in the overall financial forecasting and plays an integral role in the company’s success. This is a terrific opportunity to become a vital part of the team. Manage quarterly forecasts and annual budget
Build and maintain complex financial models
Prepares financial reports and conducts comprehensive analyses
Report on strategic elements of the business
Assist in the preparation and compilation of the periodic forecasts and budget processes
Work closely with the management team to drive additional revenue, forecast, & analyze existing revenue streams
Present financial insights and results to leadership, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization
Develop processes for financial analysis, management reporting, and budgeting
Assist with the annual audit process, including preparation of various audit support requests and coordination of obtaining support requests from the segment accountants
Actively engage in constant improvement of systems, processes, and reporting to help management make informed decisions and improve efficiency of the finance function.
Work with stakeholders across the company to assimilate complete and accurate financial reports
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
5+ years of Sr. Financial Analyst experience
Advanced financial modeling skills in Microsoft Excel
Self-starter with a hands-on approach
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to train and mentor others.
Strong technical and data analysis skills
Demonstrated interpersonal, collaborative, and relationship-building skills
Attention to detail and accuracy of information produced and recorded
