Robert Half International Talent Acquisition Specialist in Portland, Oregon

Description

OfficeTeam Portland is on the hunt for a top-notch Talent Acquisition Specialist to assist with recruiting efforts at a large company in the heart of Portland. The position requires a candidate who can stay organized and focused in fast-paced environments. It will be your job to coordinate and administer recruiting and onboarding functions for the company. You will be responsible for screening candidates, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and partnering with the recruiting team to assist as needed. The ideal candidate will be proactive, friendly, and flexible.

How you will make an impact:

Write, edit and review job postings

Screen resumes and applications

Consistently communicate with candidates to keep them updated on their applications

Provide highly detailed information about the company’s facility and job opportunities to candidates

Schedule and coordinate pre-employment testing and screening

Schedule virtual and/or in-person interviews

Check references, arrange background checks, and coordinate I-9/new full-time documentation

Facilitate and oversee new-full-time onboarding and orientation

Provide administrative support as needed

Perform other related duties as required or assigned

Requirements

What we are looking for:

Bachelor's degree

3+ year in talent acquisition/recruiting

Familiarity with Human Resources Administration

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Excellent computer and keyboarding skills

Prior experience in healthcare preferred

Experience onboarding candidates and conducting pre-employment verification

High attention to detail

Impeccable organization skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high activity environment

Knowledge of labor & employment laws

Knowledge of personnel practices

Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships

Microsoft office proficiency

Experience and familiarity with Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity protocols
