Description
Robert Half is partnered with a well-established Prairieville, Louisiana construction company in search of a Human Resources Manager. We are seeking an experienced and motivate professional to join the team and ensure that all human resources operations run smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization's business goals.
Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, and other issues.
Oversee the recruitment and selection process.
Nurture a positive working environment.
Manage the performance and appraisal process.
Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system to drive high performance.
Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
Support business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Proven working experience as an HR Manager or other HR Executive.
People-oriented and results-driven.
Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
BS/MS degree in Human Resources or related field, PHR or HR certifications preferred.
Experience in construction, manufacturing or similar industrial service industry.
Exposure to Davis Bacon compliance a huge plus.
