Description
Robert Half has an open assignment for Mortgage Assistant. Your role will be to make sure that the loan processes are in full compliance with internal and external regulations. You will ensure that the loan processes meet company standards and guidelines, along with the FDCPA and state practices. Located in Prairieville, Louisiana, this is a short-term employment opportunity. Duties include, but not limited to:
• Review loan applications and appraisals
• Auditing files
• Coding applications
• Documentation of incorrect loan contracts and appraisals
• Assure that the company is conducting business in full compliance
Requirements
Position requirements:
• Excellent organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to use a personal computer and job-related software
• Microsoft Word - Basic Level
• Microsoft Excel - Basic Level
• Underwriting experience is a plus
