Robert Half Application Development Project Manager/Lead in Princeton, New Jersey
Description We are seeking an Application Development Project Manager/Lead based in Princeton, New Jersey. This role involves leading and managing strategic initiatives within the Property & Casualty insurance industry, with a focus on enhancing our service offerings and operational efficiency. As a Project Manager, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders, manage project scopes, objectives, and timelines, and lead cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
Responsibilities:
• Leading and overseeing multiple projects within the Property & Casualty insurance domain from initiation to closure
• Collaborating with stakeholders and senior management to define project scopes, goals, and deliverables
• Developing and maintaining detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation to monitor and track progress
• Coordinating and facilitating project meetings, workshops, and status updates to ensure alignment and effective communication across teams
• Managing project budgets, resources, and risks, and proactively identifying and mitigating issues
• Monitoring project milestones and deliverables, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards
• Conducting regular project reviews and post-implementation assessments to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement
• Providing leadership and guidance to project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
• Preparing and presenting project status reports and presentations to stakeholders and senior management. Requirements • Proven experience in Application Development Project Management/Lead role
• Strong proficiency in Cloud Technologies
• Solid understanding and experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
• Knowledge and skills in Database management and operations
• Familiarity with EO/IR systems
• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Experience in AB Testing and its application in software development
• Proven ability to oversee application development and deployments
• Strong design and engineering skills in the context of software development
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
