Description
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing & Invoice Analyst to join their team.
This role is ideal for someone with at least 6+ months of experience in billing, invoicing, or a related field so entry level applicants are welcome to apply as well.
The Billing & Invoice Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timely processing of invoices, maintaining financial records, and resolving any discrepancies to support the organization’s financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and process invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
Ensure all billing information is up-to-date and complies with company policies and regulations.
Collaborate with internal teams to gather required data and address billing-related queries.
Monitor accounts to ensure payments are received on time and follow up on overdue accounts.
Reconcile discrepancies between invoices, payments, and financial records.
Generate regular reports on billing activity and outstanding accounts.
Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance billing accuracy and efficiency.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding billing issues and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum of 6+ months in billing, invoicing, or a related role.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel – Pivots, LOOKS, Word) and familiarity with accounting or ERP systems is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred but not required.
