Robert Half Desktop Support Analyst in Princeton, New Jersey

Description

We are offering a rewarding opportunity for an IT Support Specialist/ Desktop Support Analyst in the education/ non-profit sector, based in Princeton, New Jersey. This role will be integral in providing IT software and hardware support, ensuring smooth operations in our offices. The successful applicant will be proficient in a variety of technologies, capable of troubleshooting and resolving issues, and comfortable supporting customers in various formats.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting and resolving issues with Windows and Mac computers, tablets, and smartphones

• Providing support to faculty, staff, and students through various formats such as at the desk, walk-ins, phone calls, or video conferences using remote support tools

• Familiarity and experience with Citrix Technologies, Dell Technologies, EO/IR systems, Mac Computers, Microsoft, Active Directory, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, and Deployments

• Assisting in special technology requests and facilitating the use of audio-visual equipment and events

• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current technology and industry trends to provide effective and efficient support

• Collaborating with the central Office of Information Technology and other departments as required

• Assisting with the setup and configuration of computer systems and applications

• Ensuring all IT support services comply with the organization's policies and procedures

• Maintaining records of IT issues and resolutions for reference and analysis

• Providing training and guidance to users to ensure efficient and safe use of IT systems and applications.

Requirements • Proficient in Citrix Technologies

• Familiarity with Dell Technologies

• Understanding of EO/IR systems

• Proficiency in using Mac Computers

• Experience with Microsoft Suite

• Knowledge of Active Directory

• Ability to handle Computer Hardware

• Experience in Configuration Management

• Experience with Deployments

• Proficiency in Deskside Support

• Prior experience in a non-profit environment is beneficial

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

• Proactive and self-motivated

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
