Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a meticulous and organized Accounting Clerk in Providence, Rhode Island. The selected candidate will be a part of our team, tackling responsibilities such as processing invoices, maintaining inventory sheets, and providing assistance in the gift shop. This role is part of a contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with Accounts Payable tasks such as entering invoices, scanning, and filing
• Maintain and update inventory sheets using Microsoft Excel
• Provide assistance in the gift shop, which may include some inventory counting
• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, and Data Entry
• Invoice Processing using tools such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP
• Maintain an organized filing system for easy access to documents and data
• Resolve any issues or inquiries related to customer credit applications
• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action for delinquent payments
• Maintain accurate records of customer credit applications and transactions. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Familiarity with Billing procedures
• Ability to perform Data Entry tasks with accuracy
• Experience in Invoice Processing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of Oracle for accounting purposes
• Experience with QuickBooks for accounting and financial tasks
• Knowledge of SAP for managing accounting and financial tasks
