Robert Half Data Reporting Analyst in Providence, Rhode Island
Description
This position is 1 day per week onsite in Providence, RI.
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Data Reporting Analyst in Warwick, Rhode Island. This role involves working closely with our data and finance teams, handling data sent by the database team and performing data manipulation and analysis. You will also be required to work with various technologies including Excel, VBA and PowerBI.
Responsibilities:
• Processing and analyzing data sent by the database team.
• Utilizing Excel and VBA to perform data manipulation and analysis.
• Expanding the use of Power BI within the team.
• Collaborating with multiple teams to ensure data is accurately analyzed.
• Handling any data-related inquiries or issues that may arise.
• Monitoring and maintaining accurate, up-to-date records of data analysis.
• Adapting to and working with older technologies used by the team.
• Identifying opportunities to improve data analysis processes and procedures.
• Ensuring data is processed and handled in a timely, efficient manner.
• Collaborating with other teams as necessary to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Requirements • Proficiency in AB Testing methodologies and tools
• Advanced knowledge and skills in Excel VBA programming
• Experience working with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI for data visualization and business analytics
• Ability to design, build, and manage database systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent understanding of data administration and management functions
• Proven experience in data analysis and management
• Ability to troubleshoot data-related issues and ensure data integrity
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations and best practices
