Robert Half IT Auditor in Providence, Rhode Island

Description We are seeking an IT Auditor to join our team based in Providence, Rhode Island. This role involves auditing our company's IT systems and processes, ensuring compliance with relevant frameworks, and providing project management support.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular audits to ensure the company's IT systems are functioning correctly and efficiently

• Understand and apply audit frameworks to identify areas of non-compliance

• Utilize knowledge of AWS cloud, if applicable, to enhance auditing processes

• Oversee the auditing of home-built applications to ensure their performance and security

• Provide project management support, organizing and facilitating meetings with key team members

• Conduct daily audit tasks and maintain accurate records

• Utilize OneDrive for tracking and ColdFire for uploading relevant data

• Generate regular reports on IT audit tracking and reporting

• Leverage auditing and compliance skills to ensure the company meets industry standards

• Document all audit processes and findings for future reference.

This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in IT auditing.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Audit Program is required.

• Demonstrated ability in Auditing is essential.

• Proficiency in Compliance and related regulations is necessary.

• Strong Documentation skills are required to maintain accurate records.

• Must be able to work effectively both independently and in a team setting.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are needed.

• A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.

• detail oriented certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) will be an added advantage.

• Familiarity with IT standards and frameworks like ISO 27001, COBIT, or ITIL is beneficial.

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
