Robert Half Sr. Accountant in Pulaski, Tennessee
Description We are looking to bring on board a Senior Accountant in Pulaski, Tennessee. This role involves managing and reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures. The Senior Accountant will work in the telecom industry, dealing with various financial transactions and reporting.
Responsibilities:
• Handle account reconciliation tasks accurately and promptly
• Perform balance sheet reconciliation operations
• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure all financial data is accurate
• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date
• Prepare journal entries and ensure they are entered into the system correctly
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial analysis and reporting tasks
• Take charge of month-end close procedures and ensure they are completed within deadlines
• Use NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for various accounting tasks and operations
• Continuously develop and implement accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes when necessary Requirements • Comprehensive knowledge of Account Reconciliation procedures and principles
• Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation and Bank Reconciliations
• Demonstrable experience with General Ledger management
• Ability to accurately process Journal Entries
• Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Month End Close procedures
• Familiarity with NetSuite and Oracle financial software
• Proficiency in SAP financial management systems
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proactive and detail-oriented approach to work
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Professional certification (CPA, CMA, etc.) is preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
