Robert Half Talent Solutions is representing a leading organization in the manufacturing industry located in Quakertown, Pennsylvania. As a Senior Accountant, you will be actively involved in the financial management of our organization, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our accounting operations. This role involves a variety of tasks ranging from preparing financial statements to performing account reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements

• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and external stakeholders

• Lead and coordinate the month-end and year-end closing processes

• Utilize your strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles to ensure accuracy in financial records

• Apply your skills with Microsoft Excel, Oracle, NetSuite, SAP, and Great Plains in managing and analyzing financial data

• Perform account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation tasks

• Prepare and post journal entries in the general ledger

• Utilize your experience to contribute to the smooth running of the month-end close process

• Collaborate with the team to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as a Senior Accountant

• Proficient in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations

• Strong knowledge of General Ledger management and Journal Entries

• Expertise in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting

• Experience with Month End Close procedures and processes

• Familiarity with financial software such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, and MS Great Plains Dynamics

• Experience with Great Plains (GPAC) software is a plus

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field preferred

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Demonstrable attention to detail and accuracy in work.
