Description We are offering an engaging opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Quincy, Massachusetts, United States. The role involves managing the AP email inbox, processing invoices, and performing check runs, among other tasks. You will be a vital part of our team, ensuring that the office runs smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the AP email inbox, ensuring that all communications are promptly and accurately attended to.
• Perform regular check runs to maintain the financial health of the company.
• Handle full-cycle AP of invoices, from receiving and verifying to processing and recording.
• Perform administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, ordering inventory, and opening mail.
• Conduct research on payments for the team and provide relevant information as required.
• Engage in other ad hoc projects as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the office.
• Utilize your skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Check Runs, Coding Invoices, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, and Sage Software to perform tasks efficiently and accurately. Requirements • Demonstrated experience in the role of Accounts Payable Clerk or similar accounting role
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP)
• Familiarity with Check Runs and Coding Invoices
• Proven ability in Data Entry and Invoice Processing
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Sage Software or similar accounting software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Understanding of confidentiality obligations and accounting best practices.
