Description We are in need of a Project Manager/Sr. Consultant to be based in Quincy, Massachusetts. This role is instrumental in coordinating the appropriate life cycle phases for the implementation and support of one large or multiple small projects in the telecommunications industry. This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Planning, directing, and coordinating project lifecycle phases

• Coordinating resources, schedules, task assignments, and project plans

• Serving as the primary contact with user groups and systems management

• Providing advice on methods and recommending changes in project management processes, standards, and strategies

• Resolving major issues and managing project interdependencies and handoffs

• Managing overall project communication

• Leading the preparation of business case, cost/benefit analysis, contingency planning, and risk assessment

• Overseeing the development of recommendations regarding systems or process design solutions and process improvements

• Serving as a technical subject matter resource for systems and business line staff

• Facilitating meetings, sending out minutes, tracking project updates, working in Jira and Confluence and SharePoint

• Supporting tech Mod strategy

• Utilizing skills in Communication, Microsoft Excel, Training, Planning, Project Management, About Time, Workstation Support, Benefit Functions, Implementation, Methods, Cloud Technologies, Suppliers, Process Improvement, Financial Services, Computer Sciences, Principles, JIRA, Competitor Analysis, Zoom, Project Planning, Risk Assessment, System Administration, Program Management, and Written Communication.

The role requires familiarity with Jira Confluence project management, facilitation skills, analytical critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of IT and cloud-based projects and a broad-based understanding of IT terms is crucial. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in communication, both verbal and written

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Previous experience in a training role

• Strong planning and project management capabilities

• Familiarity with 'About Time' software

• Experience providing workstation support

• Understanding of benefit functions and their implementation

• Knowledge of different methods used in project management

• Proficiency in cloud technologies

• Experience working with suppliers

• Proven track record in process improvement

• Background in financial services sector

• Degree in Computer Sciences or related field

• Understanding of principles of project management

• Experience with JIRA software

• Ability to perform competitor analysis

• Proficiency in Zoom for virtual meetings

• Extensive experience in project planning

• Ability to conduct risk assessments

• Experience in system administration

• Proven program management skills
