Robert Half Accounts Receivable Specialist in Racine, Wisconsin
Description We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Racine, Wisconsin. The individual will be responsible for maintaining an accurate customer ledger, processing customer applications, and resolving inquiries. This role also involves monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary.
Responsibilities include:
• Accurately and efficiently processing customer credit applications
• Maintaining precise records of customer credit
• Resolving customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Monitoring and taking necessary action on customer accounts
• Retrieving supporting documents from various platforms to validate customer deduction types
• Contacting customers to understand and prevent invalid deductions
• Routing deductions to the relevant internal teams like Sales, Supply Chain, or Finance teams
• Serving as a backup for the Cash Reconciliation process
• Supporting the refinement of Accounts Receivable Work procedures
• Assisting in Accounts Receivable automation and ad-hoc projects
• Ensuring meticulous attention to detail for accuracy in accounting entries and financial transactions
• Managing multiple tasks efficiently through excellent problem-solving and priority setting skills. Requirements • Proven experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) and Finance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Experience in sales and providing training
• Familiarity with cash activity, credit, financial transactions, and ledger
• Knowledge of backup technologies and supply chain logistics
• Ability to perform data entry tasks with high level of accuracy
• Proficiency in handling ad hoc reporting and contracting
• Experience in managing financial notes and deductible
• Demonstrated ability to ensure accuracy in all tasks
• Familiarity with onsite work environment
• Experience with cash applications
• Ability to work proficiently with video tools.
