Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Medical Data Entry Clerk in Racine, Wisconsin. This role is within the healthcare industry, where you'll be essential in maintaining and organizing medical data. You'll be engaging with systems like Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA), EHR SYSTEM, IBM AS/400, and McKesson, and using skills such as Microsoft Excel, Billing Functions, Claim Administration, Customer Service, and Documentation.
Responsibilities:
• Inputting data accurately and efficiently into the Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA) and EHR SYSTEM.
• Utilizing IBM AS/400 and McKesson for data entry and other related tasks.
• Regularly using Microsoft Excel to manage and organize data.
• Performing billing functions and claim administration as part of the role.
• Delivering high-quality customer service while resolving any inquiries related to credit applications.
• Documenting all actions and tasks in a clear, concise manner for record-keeping.
• Monitoring client accounts and taking appropriate actions for delinquent payments.
• Ensuring the confidentiality and security of all medical data in accordance with industry standards.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely data entry.
• Continually improving data entry procedures for enhanced efficiency and accuracy. Requirements • Proficiency in using Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA)
• Experience with EHR SYSTEM is required
• Familiarity with IBM AS/400 system
• Proficient in McKesson software
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of Billing Functions
• Experience in Claim Administration
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Data Entry skills are necessary
• Ability to produce clear and concise Documentation
