Robert Half Medical Records Clerk in Racine, Wisconsin

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Medical Records Clerk position based in Racine, Wisconsin. The incumbent will be responsible for managing and organizing health information data. The role demands a high level of proficiency in handling patient medical records and maintaining confidentiality as per compliance guidelines. The ideal candidate should be adept in data entry and proficient in using software such as Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, EHR SYSTEM, MEDITECH, Microsoft Excel, Charts - Graphs.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain patient medical records in a secure and efficient manner.

• Utilize Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, EHR SYSTEM, and MEDITECH software to input and retrieve medical data.

• Ensure all medical records are accurate, up-to-date and easily accessible when required.

• Adhere to confidentiality guidelines and compliance regulations to ensure patient information is protected.

• Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and quality of medical records.

• Respond to requests for patient records, ensuring all requests are handled promptly and within legal guidelines.

• Use Microsoft Excel, Charts, and Graphs to present data when necessary.

• Assist in Clinical Trial Operations, ensuring all records are accurately maintained.

• Handle data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.

• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure medical records are accurately maintained and updated as needed. Requirements • Proficiency in Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, EHR SYSTEM, MEDITECH, and Microsoft Excel

• Ability to generate charts and graphs

• Experience in Clinical Trial Operations

• Knowledge of Compliance protocols and procedures

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Proficient in data entry tasks

• Prior experience in a medical records role or similar is preferred

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Knowledge of medical terminologies is an advantage

• High school diploma or equivalent education level is required

• Relevant certification or training is a plus.
