Description We are offering a unique opportunity for a Medical Records Clerk in Racine, Wisconsin. This role is situated in the healthcare industry and involves managing and maintaining patients' records in a healthcare setting. Given the nature of the job, you will be expected to operate within a hospital or clinic environment. This is a contract employment opportunity, offering a chance to expand your skills and experience within the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the accurate and timely entry of medical data, including patient information, medical histories, and results of medical tests

• Utilizing various healthcare systems such as Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, EHR SYSTEM, and MEDITECH for data entry and retrieval

• Creating and maintaining charts and graphs to present medical data effectively

• Assisting in clinical trial operations by maintaining accurate and accessible records

• Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations regarding medical records and patient confidentiality

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data organization, analysis, and reporting

• Implementing and enforcing procedures for data security and confidentiality to ensure patient privacy

• Responding to requests for medical records, ensuring that release forms are properly completed and verified before releasing information

• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure that all patient records are accurate and complete

• Conducting regular audits of the medical records to ensure compliance with established healthcare standards and regulations. Requirements • Proficiency in using medical software such as Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, EHR SYSTEM, and MEDITECH.

• Solid skills in Microsoft Excel and creating charts and graphs.

• Prior experience in Clinical Trial Operations.

• Strong understanding of compliance requirements in the medical field.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient records and other sensitive information.

• Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.

• Ability to communicate effectively with medical professionals and patients.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Commitment to continuous learning and willingness to stay updated on new procedures and technologies in the field.
