Robert Half Patient Service Representative in Racine, Wisconsin
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Patient Access Specialist to join our team in Racine, Wisconsin. As a Patient Access Specialist, your main duty will be to ensure the accurate and efficient input of paper-based data into computer systems. Your role will also include maintaining physical records, collaborating with team members to verify data entries, and making use of software tools to enhance productivity. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently transfer paper-based data into computer systems with precision.
• Organize and maintain physical records to ensure a smooth digitization process.
• Work closely with team members to verify and validate data entries for completeness and consistency.
• Utilize software tools such as CRM, EHR SYSTEM, McKesson, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office Suites to streamline data entry tasks.
• Uphold confidentiality and security protocols when handling sensitive information during the digitization process.
• Run records and match appropriate records to the patient in the system.
• Handle responsibilities related to Benefit Functions, Billing Functions, Cash Activity, Claim Administration, and Complaint Handling. Requirements • Proficiency in CRM software
• Familiarity with EHR SYSTEM
• Experience with McKesson software is a must
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suites
• Knowledge of Benefit Functions
• Understanding of Billing Functions
• Experience in Cash Activity management
• Proficiency in Claim Administration
• Experience in handling customer complaints effectively
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred
