Description We are in search of a Patient Access Specialist to work in Racine, Wisconsin. This role is crucial to our healthcare team as you will be responsible for digitizing patient data, maintaining physical records, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all entries. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently transfer paper-based data into computer systems with precision and accuracy.
• Organize and maintain physical records to support seamless digitization processes.
• Collaborate with team members to verify and validate data entries for completeness and consistency.
• Utilize software tools such as CRM, EHR SYSTEM, McKesson, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office Suites to streamline data entry tasks and enhance productivity.
• Uphold confidentiality and security protocols while handling sensitive patient information during the digitization process.
• Run records and match appropriate records to the patient in the system.
• Handle patient service inquiries, including benefit functions, billing functions, cash activity, claim administration, and complaint handling. Requirements • Proficiency in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software
• Experience with EHR (Electronic Health Record) SYSTEM
• Knowledge of McKesson healthcare technology solutions
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites
• Understanding of Benefit Functions within a healthcare context
• Familiarity with Billing Functions in a medical setting
• Ability to handle Cash Activity within a healthcare organization
• Experience in Claim Administration within a healthcare context
• Proven ability to handle Complaints in a professional and effective manner
