Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Patient Access Specialist in Racine, Wisconsin, 53405, United States. This role involves managing patient data in a healthcare setting, utilizing various software tools to streamline tasks, and maintaining the utmost confidentiality while handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently inputting paper-based data into computer systems with precision and accuracy.

• Organizing and maintaining physical records to ensure seamless digitization processes.

• Collaborating with team members to verify and validate data entries for completeness and consistency.

• Utilizing software tools such as CRM, EHR SYSTEM, McKesson, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office Suites to streamline data entry tasks and enhance productivity.

• Upholding confidentiality and security protocols while handling sensitive information during the digitization process.

• Running records and matching appropriate records to the patient in the system.

• Handling various billing functions and cash activity in line with standard procedures.

• Managing complaint handling processes effectively to ensure patient satisfaction.

• Administering claims and benefit functions in a timely and accurate manner. Requirements • Proficiency in CRM and EHR SYSTEM

• Experience with McKesson software is necessary

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites

• Knowledge of Benefit Functions and Billing Functions

• Ability to manage Cash Activity efficiently

• Experience in Claim Administration

• Skilled in handling customer complaints and providing solutions

• Knowledge and understanding of patient access services in a healthcare environment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards

• Understanding of medical terminology and insurance plans

• Ability to multitask and work under pressure

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions

• High level of professionalism and customer service skills

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, if required.
