Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Patient Access Specialist in Racine, Wisconsin, United States. As a Patient Access Specialist, your primary role will be to efficiently manage and process patient data, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. You will be working in a team-oriented environment where collaboration and precision are paramount.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently input paper-based data into computer systems maintaining accuracy and precision

• Organize and maintain physical records to ensure seamless digitization processes

• Collaborate with team members to verify and validate data entries for completeness and consistency

• Utilize software tools and techniques to streamline data entry tasks and enhance productivity

• Uphold confidentiality and security protocols while handling sensitive information during the digitization process

• Run records and match appropriate records to the patient in the system

• Utilize CRM, EHR SYSTEM, McKesson, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites for various administrative tasks

• Handle Benefit Functions, Billing Functions, Cash Activity, Claim Administration, and Complaint Handling effectively. Requirements • Proficiency in using CRM systems

• Experience with EHR Systems

• Familiarity with McKesson

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites

• Understanding of Benefit Functions

• Proficiency in Billing Functions

• Experience with Cash Activity

• Knowledge of Claim Administration

• Experience in Complaint Handling

• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to handle patient information with confidentiality and discretion

• Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively

• Proven ability to work as part of a team and independently

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
