Robert Half Network Manager in Radnor, Pennsylvania

Description We are looking for a Network Manager to be based in Radnor, Pennsylvania. This role involves managing and overseeing our company's network systems and ensuring they operate at their best. As a Network Manager, you will be tasked with designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and telephony environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain the organization's local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and telephony environments

• Ensure network infrastructure meets performance, security, and scalability requirements

• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize network traffic for efficient operation

• Implement network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, malware, and other security threats

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently

• Maintain accurate customer credit records

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Have a strong understanding of VOIP systems, Cisco Unity is a plus

• Show experience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., Wireshark, Nagios, SolarWinds)

• Ensure in-depth knowledge of networking technologies, protocols, and standards (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, SD-WAN, routing protocols)

• Demonstrate outstanding level of professionalism, including ability to exercise good judgment, discretion, tact, and diplomacy. Requirements • Proficient in Cisco Technologies, with an ability to leverage these skills in network management

• Experience and knowledge in EO/IR systems to ensure effective network operations

• Expertise in Firewall Technologies, with a focus on network security

• Proficiency in Microsoft technologies and software, particularly in a network management context

• Understanding of Network Infrastructure and its key components

• Familiarity with Active Directory, including its setup and maintenance

• Experience with Backup Technologies, ensuring data safety and retrieval

• Knowledge of Computer Hardware, particularly in relation to network systems

• Skills in Configuration Management to ensure optimal network performance
