Robert Half Accounts Receivable Analyst in Raleigh, North Carolina

Description We are in the search for a meticulous Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our team in the Hi Tech Engineering industry based in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this role, you will primarily be tasked with managing customer credit applications, maintaining precise records, and handling customer inquiries. Your role will also involve monitoring customer accounts and implementing necessary actions.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner

• Maintain and update customer credit records efficiently

• Engage with customers to discuss payments and specific payment terms

• Follow up on collection processes when necessary and implement suspensions for past due accounts

• Facilitate customer support and service to maintain friendly relationships and ensure timely payments

• Handle monthly end processes, write-offs, and accruals

• Utilize various software tools such as NetSuite and Salesforce for information collection and processing

• Participate in the implementation of automation tools for scalable processes

• Conduct regular communication with customers via email and occasional phone calls

• Strategize and implement collection strategies to ensure efficient accounts receivable operations. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Thorough understanding of Accounting Functions and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proven experience with Billing Functions and Cash Activity

• Familiarity with NetSuite software

• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

• Prior experience in a hi-tech engineering industry would be an advantage

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

• High level of integrity, confidentially, and accountability

• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
