Description

As an Applications Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our projects through your strong leadership, technical expertise, and commitment to results. You will be responsible for managing a diverse team of developers. Your role will involve implementing innovative technology solutions to drive efficiency and deliver high-quality applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and coach a cross-functional team of application developers, database developers, business analysts, quality assurance experts, and production system support staff. Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.

  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrate a strong technical understanding of application development using Microsoft Visual Studio, .NET (core), .NET Framework, MVC, ASP.NET, Razor, Blazor, Git, Windows Server, IIS 10.0, and Azure DevOps. Oversee the end-to-end application solution delivery process.

  • Database and Cloud: Possess a deep technical understanding of database systems, web services, web applications, and Azure cloud architecture. Ensure the seamless integration of database technologies and cloud solutions into the development process.

  • Strategic Vision: Stay informed about industry trends related to office automation tools and process automation tools. Leverage this knowledge to analyze unmet business needs and propose and implement innovative technology solutions that align with the company's strategic goals.

  • Project Management: Utilize your project management skills to plan, execute, and oversee development projects. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

  • Conflict Resolution: Approach conflict resolution, problem-solving, and group decision-making with a pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset, fostering a harmonious work environment.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

  • Proven experience in a leadership role, with a track record of successfully managing diverse development teams.

  • Strong technical expertise in application development, including Microsoft Visual Studio, .NET (core), .NET Framework, MVC, ASP.NET, Razor, Blazor, Git, Windows Server, IIS 10.0, and Azure DevOps.

  • In-depth understanding of database systems, web services, web applications, and Azure cloud architecture.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate with team members and stakeholders effectively.

  • Excellent project management skills, with a results-oriented approach to project delivery.

  • A passion for staying updated on industry trends and incorporating innovative solutions into the development process.
