Look no further, Human Resources Managers. Robert Half is partnering with a growing client to immediately hire a Human Resources Manager. The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing personnel and daily operations of the human resources department. As the HR Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing various HR functions, including benefits administration, compliance with FMLA, ADA, OSHA regulations, short/long-term disability, full-cycle recruitment, employee relations, policy and procedure development, onboarding, and offboarding. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring that our employees have the support and resources they need to thrive in our organization.
Responsibilities:
Benefits Administration: Administer and manage employee benefits programs, including health, dental, retirement plans, and other perks.
FMLA and ADA Compliance: Ensure compliance with the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), including handling accommodation requests.
OSHA Compliance: Implement and maintain safety programs and policies to comply with OSHA regulations, ensuring a safe work environment for employees.
Short/Long-Term Disability: Administer and coordinate short and long-term disability programs, assisting employees in navigating these benefits.
Full Cycle Recruitment: Lead the full cycle recruitment process, from job postings to interviewing and hiring, ensuring the best talent is onboarded.
Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support for employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and grievance handling.
Policies and Procedures: Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
Onboarding and Offboarding: Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization, and oversee the offboarding process when necessary.
Compliance: Stay informed about employment laws and regulations, and ensure the company's practices align with legal requirements.
Contract to Hire Transition: Assess the performance and fit of contract employees and assist in transitioning successful individuals to full-time positions.
Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, OSHA, and other relevant employment laws and regulations.
Experience in benefits administration and employee relations.
Demonstrated expertise in full cycle recruitment.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
