Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Payable Staff Accountant to join our financial team in the healthcare industry. This role demands high proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel skills, combined with an in-depth understanding of accounts payable procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of accounting principles, and be able to execute a range of financial, clerical, and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
Accurate processing and recording of the company’s accounts payable data.
Performing reconciliations of bank and vendor accounts.
Analyzing expenses and providing cost control solutions.
Compilation, process and maintain accounts payable records.
Preparing financial reports and summaries for management as required.
Using SAP software for various accounting operations.
Track and ensure payments are made in a timely manner.
Follow up on invoice discrepancies and resolve vendor inquiries.
Support month-end and year-end close processes.
Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel including knowledge of pivot tables, vlookup, etc.
Knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements.
Ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
Exceptional data entry skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and multitasking ability.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
The ability to work independently or as part of a team.
