Robert Half IT Support Engineer in Raleigh, North Carolina

Description

We are currently seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Managed Service Provider Support Engineer to join our IT support team. As a pivotal role in our company, you will be responsible for addressing an array of externally-based customers' IT issues and executing relevant projects. You will also be engaged in ticket management and exhibit flexibility in dealing with a wide range of tasks across various IT aspects.

Responsibility:

  • Provide hands-on technical support to external customers, effectively addressing and resolving IT problems in a prompt manner.

  • Complete projects efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime or disruption to clients' operations.

  • Manage the ticketing system effectively by troubleshooting and resolving reported issues in line with priority levels.

  • Display versatility by serving as a go-to person for diverse IT-related matters and providing solutions accordingly.

  • Communicate effectively with customers, understanding their needs and providing excellent customer service.

  • Work cooperatively in a team environment as well as independently to achieve specific goals and objectives.

    Requirements

  • In-depth understanding of and experience with O365 and Active Directory (AD).

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a personable demeanor to effectively interact with various customers.

  • Good command of verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical customers in a clear and understandable manner.

  • Demonstrated experience in working as part of a team and independently within a fast-paced, driven, managed-service-provider environment.

  • Customer-service focused approach with a solid understanding of the importance of maintaining client relationships.
