Description
Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Middleware Support Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about middleware technologies, specifically Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Oracle Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), and who are eager to work with advanced and specialized middleware solutions.
Position Overview:
As a Middleware Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, performance, and advanced functionality of our middleware systems, with a primary focus on OIC and SOA. We are looking for candidates who not only have a strong foundation in basic middleware components but also possess expertise in advanced middleware technologies. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in areas such as specific integration platforms, enterprise service buses (ESBs), API management tools, and cloud-based middleware solutions.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert-level support and maintenance for middleware systems, with a particular emphasis on OIC and SOA.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex middleware issues and incidents.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize advanced middleware solutions.
Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for enhancement.
Document system configurations, procedures, and best practices for advanced middleware technologies.
Utilize specialized knowledge in areas such as microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and other advanced middleware concepts to drive innovation and efficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Middleware Support Engineer with expertise in OIC and SOA.
Demonstrated experience with advanced or specialized middleware technologies beyond basic components.
Relevant certifications in middleware technologies, such as Oracle WebLogic Server, IBM WebSphere Application Server, Red Hat JBoss Middleware, or MuleSoft Certified Developer/Administrator.
Familiarity with database administration concepts and SQL queries, particularly in relation to middleware systems.
Experience with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Shell scripting, PowerShell, Python) and automation frameworks/tools.
Previous project management experience related to middleware deployments or upgrades is preferred.
Exposure to CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Docker) is advantageous.
