Robert Half Property Accountant in Raleigh, North Carolina
Robert Half is currently working with a client seeking a Property Accountant. This Property Accountant will have experience in accounting and property management, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and property-specific systems. This is the role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced work environment that requires the ability to balance multiple responsibilities. Experience working with Yardi software is a plus.
Maintain capital lease and monthly payment schedules
Support reconciliation, depreciation and fixed-asset ledger
Support efforts around internal controls, including implementation, maintenance, and adherence
Put together intricate journal entries and account reconciliations
Support management reporting by preparing monthly balance sheet and income statement analyses
Assemble reporting packages and financial statements
Report on a variety of financial data after analyzing and coordinating
Previous experience in accounting, real estate accounting, or property accounting preferred
Knowledge of Yardi software
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Multi-Entity or Multi-Location Accounting preferred
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required
General proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel preferred
