Description We are seeking a Sales Assistant for our Scientific Instrument Manufacturing team located in Raleigh, North Carolina, 27617, United States. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, where you will be responsible for answering phones, checking inventory, database work, order entry, tracking, and customer contact.
Responsibilities:
• Handle inbound calls professionally and efficiently
• Ensure accurate and timely order entry
• Assist in inventory tracking and management
• Maintain and update the customer database regularly
• Provide high-quality customer service and support
• Proactively communicate with customers to resolve any inquiries or issues
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth operations
• Help in tracking orders and deliveries to meet customer requirements
• Develop a deep understanding of our products to provide accurate information to customers
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to improve job performance and understanding of company processes. Requirements • Proficiency in answering inbound calls and providing excellent customer service
• Experience in order entry and customer support
• Ability to track inventory effectively
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously
• Knowledge of scientific instruments is advantageous
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work well as part of a team and independently
• Proficiency in using computer systems and software for data entry and communication
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Commitment to continuous learning and improvement in the field of scientific instrument manufacturing.
