Robert Half Senior Accountant in Raleigh, North Carolina


Robert Half currently has a permanent position open for an experienced Senior Accountant with drive and know-how to join a rapidly growing team in Raleigh, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will be a CPA with 5+ years of corporate accounting experience. As a Senior Accountant, you will be required to perform financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. We are looking for someone who has excellent analytical skills and enjoys working in a challenging and fast-paced environment to support the continued success of the firm. What you get to do every day

  • Supply Balance Sheet account reconciliations

  • Prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting

  • Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary

  • Continuously analyze current automation of the accounting and reporting process and present improvement suggestions

  • Apply oneself to various department-wide initiatives

  • Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

  • Produce error-free monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP

  • Prepare financial analysis on trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.

  • Work with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests


• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Senior Accountant.

• Possession of a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred

• Proficient in managing General Ledger accounts.

• Capable of preparing and analyzing Financial Reports.

• Experience in preparing Financial Statements is essential.

• Must have experience in Financial Statements Consolidation.

• Capable of conducting Financial Audits.

• Must have experience in Month End Close operations.

• Proficient in Budgeting and Forecasting.

• Must have strong Financial Analysis skills.

• Capable of conducting Variance Analysis.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must.

• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
