Robert Half is offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior. Accountant in the Healthcare industry in Raleigh, North Carolina. The role involves complex month-end general ledger close, account analysis, account reconciliations, and project analysis within a rapidly growing company. You will also have the opportunity to exercise independent initiative and judgement to improve and develop accounting processes and procedures in a fast-paced corporate environment. Strong General Ledger skills and 5 years' experience in corporate accounting are required for this Senior Accountant position. Responsibilities:

• Perform complex month-end general ledger close

• Conduct account analysis to ensure accurate financial reporting

• Manage account reconciliations to maintain the integrity of financial records

• Carry out project analysis to aid in decision making processes

• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, MS Great Plains Dynamics, Sage Accounting Software, Monthly Financial Reporting, Audit - Financial, Consolidated Financial Statements, Intercompany Accounting

• Develop and improve accounting processes and procedures to optimize efficiency

• Work independently to take initiatives and make judgements in a corporate environment.

Requirements

• Possesses a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Sr. Accountant role within the Health Pharm/Biotech industry.

• Demonstrates proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations.

• Has a strong understanding of General Ledger management and Journal Entries.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Great Plains Dynamics.

• Experienced in executing Month End Close procedures.

• Familiar with Sage Accounting Software.

• Capable of Monthly Financial Reporting and conducting Audit - Financial.

• Able to prepare Consolidated Financial Statements.

• Experienced in managing Intercompany Accounting.

• Holds a relevant degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
