Robert Half Collections Specialist in Rancho Bernardo, California
Description
A prominent Robert Half client is in immediate need of a success-driven Collections Specialist for a 60-90 day contract assignment. This Rancho Bernardo-based role has an opportunity to be a permanent position based on performance in the contract role.
You will play a vital role in helping our client’s collections department achieve their goals. Please see below for the role’s responsibilities and requirements:
Handle inbound and outbound collections calls
Lead all billing and reporting activities according to deadline
Handle all vendor inquiries
Maintain and update customer files to ensure data integrity
Call on all past due amounts and record all results in the system
Record all customer payments to the correct reports

Requirements
BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
2+ years of prior high volume collections experience
Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills
Experience using accounting software
