This permanent Accounting Clerk position is located in Rancho Cucamonga, California, area.   • Complete other related duties and assist with special projects as needed

  • Create statements and reports that require the use of a number of sources

  • Reconcile discrepancies by examining possible sources of disagreement, recreating likely actions, and identifying the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as needed

  • Add financial information to journals and ledgers

  • Classify documents with the proper expenditure codes and accounting codes

  • Support accounts payable by filing vendor invoice and disbursements and by matching & filing A/P invoices

  • Assist Accounts Receivable with processing daily invoices/credit, applying cash receipts, and collecting past due balances

  • Help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, and other general accounting proje

    Requirements - Be able to prioritize workload and perform in a fast-paced and challenging environment

  • 5+ years of accounting experience required

  • AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred

  • Prior knowledge in Spreadsheet and ERP system

  • Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required

  • Command of Preliminary Title Reports

  • Union payroll experience preferred

  • Strong familiarity with Certified Payroll

  • Accounts Payable (AP) experience

  • Bank reconciliations experience

  • Well-founded grasp of bank reconciliations

  • Proven knowledge of account reconciliation
